Teaching
My interdisciplinary philosophy of education centers on fostering learner agency, with a focus on empowering historically, persistently, and systemically marginalized students. I prioritize pedagogical approaches that help students take control of their learning and overcome barriers.
- Learner agency and choice in shaping learning contexts and assessment strategies
- Co-creation of learning through valuing lived experiences
- Media literacy and democratization of knowledge to expand agency
- Learning environments and their impact on the expression of agency
- Critical use of technology in ADST, STEM, and medical education
